According to the left-brain, right-brain dominance theory, the right side of the brain is best at expressive and creative tasks. Some of the abilities that are popularly associated with the right side of the brain include:
- Recognizing faces
- Expressing emotions
- Music
- Reading emotions
- Color
- Images
- Intuition
The Left Brain
- Creativity
The left-side of the brain is considered to be adept at tasks that involve logic, language and analytical thinking. The left-brain is often described as being better at:
- Language
- Logic
- Critical thinking
- Numbers
- Reasoning "
I found it hard to identify what side of my brain was, but base on the given facts from you ma'am and articles i have read about the brain, I'm not good in Language, Logic( a little bit ), Critical thinking ( sometimes good & bad ), Numbers ( really bad at those ) & Reasoning ( i just don't like to reason out ) that's why the characteristics of a right brain person best fits for me. I'm good at recognizing faces but sometimes i forgot the names but i remember who you are through your face, we all can express emotions, music, colors, reading emotions can tell whether your sad,happy and etc., images, intuition ( something like I know what's coming I'm psychic ) and creativity ( you know what it is ). so there you go that's my findings about my brain, the abilities from the both side are relevant to the behavior we show. METAPHORICALLY.
It doesn't depend on what side of the brain you have, it depends on what they believe and what you want to believe, it's either a myth or truth of the modern science (theories), one person doesn't tend to have a stronger left brain or right brain because for the reason that Brains are series of connection connecting to each side to perform a bigger task but which is true is the Left brain tends to do language while the Right brain does more on the attention , so basically it works both, it's just a matter of improvement on what skill you desire to have example math or arts.
